What we collect
When you join the bayzl waitlist we collect your email address. If you answer the optional question after joining, we save your answer with your email.
We also collect ad-attribution data so we can tell which ads lead to waitlist joins: which page version you saw, the campaign details in the link you clicked (such as utm_source, utm_campaign, utm_content and Meta's fbclid), the time you joined, your browser's user agent and the Meta browser identifiers (_fbp and _fbc).
How we use it
We use your email only to run the waitlist: we will email you once when bayzl is ready to launch. We use the attribution data to measure whether our ads work.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API
This site uses the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel in your browser and Meta's Conversions API from our server. When you join the waitlist we send Meta a "Lead" event. The server-side event includes your email address, which is hashed (a one-way scrambled form) before it is sent, plus the browser identifiers above. Meta uses this to match the event to its ad system and report results to us. Meta's handling of that data is described in Meta's Privacy Policy.
We also use Google Analytics to count visits and waitlist joins.
We don't sell your data
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the services above (Google, which hosts our waitlist spreadsheet and analytics, and Meta, for ad measurement).
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email we send. You can also limit ad tracking in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, or with your browser's tracking protection.
